Fifth wheel, family run business for over 60 years never disappoints. They open very limited hours and focus more on breakfast crowd. Service always to the point and friendly. This place is clean with limited sitting. I am living in San Leandro, this is one of the few family run businesses left in this fine city.

Basic breakfasts are great, portions are filling, prices are reasonable, and with small capacity seating, get there early as it is very busy, service is very efficient, and your order is brought to you as it comes off the grill. To me, the best part of the experience at the 5th Wheel is watching how the waitpersons are so organized like they might be "bees coming and going in and out of the hive. Plus, it reminds me of a "mom and pop" five-star place where you feel the pride in the hard work they do to give you all they have to give! There is no place like the 5th Wheel in the East Bay's San Leandro!

BRO THIS PLACE WAS STRAIGHT UP FIRE!!!!!!!!! They love their butter but they love the craft for their food even more. The place is small so come early and expect a tiny wait but it's so homey and perfect. The staff was so kind and so welcoming. The food again is fire as heck. And this isn't a place to miss when you're visiting the Bay!

Great breakfast place the hashbrowns are amazing. Customer service with fantastic and the Porsches were huge pancakes. Great a little small but they get you in and out. They don't rush you. It was great.

Fifth wheel is our family favorite. My husband and I have been going here since we started dating. We are married now, with a new born baby :) The one gentleman who is always there, I feel bad because we did ask him what his name was, but I forgot haha, he is always so friendly! We just call him, "our friend". haha. He and I'm sure the other cook, know our order by heart. I always order the breaded chicken patty, rice with cheese on top the rice. I saw a person order grits with cheese on top so ever since then I have been getting cheese over my rice. I'm Filipino, so I eat rice with everything. This is definitely a place we will be going to for a long time. We have even brought our daughter here a couple of times.

The 5th Wheel in San Leandro is a true go-to diner! It's all about fast, fresh food that keeps the community coming back. Our order was quick, fresh, and you can tell they're popular by the bustling scene. Loads of to-go orders, too. Here's what I got: Two eggs scrambled with cheese Wheat toast Super delicious hash browns Country fried steak All cooked to perfection. If you're after quality eats in a friendly atmosphere, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

I'm honestly shocked everyone isn't always talking about this place!! A little hidden gem that my husband discovered. We haven't been able to stray away from one particular dish so I really can't say how everything is, but this one dish keeps bringing us back! It's a no-fuss, little diner with just a few tables and some bar seating. It's got a fairly small kitchen. While we've had to wait before, we went this morning (a Saturday!) and there was no wait at all. There's some street parking available, prices are affordable and the service is fairly quick. We always order the Korean BBQ pork with white rice and toast, two over-medium eggs, a tall glass of orange juice and coffee. The pork is flavorful, with jalapeños, on top of a pile of white rice with a bit of butter on top. It doesn't make sense how good it is! Go check this spot out!
